  1. Browse starters by category.
  2. Inspect the designs available in this category.
  3. Switch categories to find a suitable starting point.

Find a starter or block

Open Marketplace from the dashboard. Use its Starters and Blocks tabs and category groups to browse available designs. You need network access to the marketplace to load its catalog and previews.

Create a site from a starter

1

Open Create Site

From Sites, choose Create Site and enter a name.
2

Choose a starter

In the starter picker, browse the Marketplace and select a design. Review its preview before proceeding. You can also copy an existing site or choose a blank starter.
3

Review blocks and create

Select any optional blocks offered by the wizard and complete creation. Open the new site from the dashboard.
4

Replace sample content

Review pages, images, links, site fields, and page types. Replace starter content and connect a domain before publishing for visitors.

Add a marketplace block to your library

In the Blocks tab, select a block, review its preview, choose a destination library group, and add it to your library. Add the library copy to your site’s page type when you want editors to use it.
Starters and blocks are copied into your instance. Later marketplace changes do not automatically update those copies. Review imported code and any external scripts or services before publishing.

Troubleshoot a missing preview

Check your browser’s network requests and connection to the marketplace. A starter can preview without its own custom domain through the marketplace’s preview route. If one item fails while others work, try another starter and report the item’s name in a GitHub issue.
